અમદાવાદમાં ભગવાન જગન્નાથની 144મી રથયાત્રી સોમવારે સંપન્ન થઈ હતી. ત્રણેય રથ ઈતિહાસમાં પહેલી વખત 4 કલાકમાં નગરચર્યાએ ફરીને પાછા નિજમંદિર પરત ફર્યા હતા. માત્ર ત્રણ કલાક 40 મિનિટમાં નિર્વિઘ્ને રથયાત્રી સંપન્ન થઈ હતી. બીજી બાજુ પોલીસના તમામ ઉચ્ચ અધિકારીઓ ખડેપગે રહ્યા હતા.
આજે સવારે પરાપરાગત વિધીઓ આરંભાઈ હતી. જેમાં જગન્નાથ, બહેન સુભદ્રા અને ભાઈ બલરામની નજર ઉતારીને મંદિરના ગર્ભગૃહ
