The funeral services of Late Chief Egwuonwu and Late Ugoeze Uzaru held on Thursday was honored with the presence of the Chief Whip of the 9th Senate and former Governor of Abia Attention Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, Igbere TV reports.
The funeral services held at separate venues asides the Senate Chief Whip was honored by a long list of dignitaries who graced the funeral events to pay their last respect to the deceased persons.
Earlier in his speech Senator Kalu while addressing the audience gathered at Ezigbere Primary school , Okafia Igbere, to pay their last respect to late Ugoeze urged the guests to appreciate the life of Ugoeze. Kalu emphasised that the late Ugoeze spent a life worthy of emulation stating that she left behind lasting legacies.
