James Oulton, 34, was accused of committing the offences while he was a teacher at Mary Immaculate Catholic Primary School in Haverfordwest, between 2012 and 2018. On Tuesday a jury at Swansea Crown Court found Oulton, of Haverfordwest, not guilty of all 30 charges. Mr Oulton had described the accusations as a witch-hunt . He confirmed he had made a formal complaint against one officer involved. Speaking to BBC Wales after the verdict, Mr Oulton said he was glad two years and eight months of hell for my family, colleagues and friends had come to an end.

He denies 30 charges relating to his time at Mary Immaculate Catholic Primary School in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire between 2012 and 2018. Council records showed Mr Oulton taught 673 pupils during his career. Mr Oulton claimed evidence offered by the complainants that a learning support assistant (LSA) was not always present in the classroom was wrong.
