Queens Daily Eagle, he began experiencing flu-like symptoms just two days after attending the indoor, maskless Christmas party hosted by the Whitestone Republican Club. The event, which was held at Il Bacco restaurant in Queens, made headlines after a video of attendees forming a conga line began circulating on social media. Many slammed the GOP club for failing to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols, such as social distancing and face coverings.

A Queens restaurant that hosted a large holiday party with maskless patrons had its liquor license suspended for violating several COVID-19 regulations and other health safety laws, state authorities announced Thursday.
Il Bacco Ristorante in Little Neck was thrust into the limelight in recent weeks after video emerged online showing a large group of maskless partiers dancing in a conga line to the Bee Gees’ You Should Be Dancing during a gathering organized by the Whitestone Republican Club.
At the time of the party, which was held earlier this month, indoor dining was open at 25 percent capacity, and the club has insisted it was in compliance with state guidance.

A video of people without masks dancing in a conga line at a Republican clubâs holiday party in Queens drew swift condemnation after it was posted on social media last week.
At the time, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said that âCovid conga lines are not smart,â and the State Liquor Authority launched an investigation into Il Bacco, the Italian restaurant in Little Neck where the party was held.
