Jamia Students News Today

The casual treatment by the justice system of an incident as serious as this, where police forcibly entered the campus and assaulted students, is disheartening

Ayesha Saubia, Ashwani Singh and Yashika Arora, the three students from the MSC Biotechnology department, will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 20,000 to finish their Master's programme for two years.

The screening of the documentary was scheduled around 6 pm. The varsity had said on Tuesday that the administration will not allow any unauthorised gatherings on campus after the SFI announced the screening

Delhi Police had allegedly entered Jamia Millia Islamia, broke CCTV cameras and attacked students who were marching against the Citizenship Amendment Act.

However, the administration has denied that students have been declined admission and states that every name mentioned in the "final list" was allotted a seat.

Signed by the chief proctor, the orders dated September 14 said the competent authority has approved a campus ban on ex-students for not maintaining a peaceful academic environment.
