NBI Deputy Director Ferdinand Lavin said in a text message on Thursday, Jan. 14, those who have already appeared before NBI investigators were “12 from Room 2207.”
It has been learned that Dacera rented with her friends Room 2209 of the City Garden Grand Hotel to celebrate the new year and that they mingled also with occupants of Room 2207.
Dacera was found unconscious last Jan. 1 in the bath tub of Room 2209 of the hotel that she rented with her friends to celebrate the new year.
She was rushed to the Makati Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival.
Lavin said investigators have also invited the men who stayed with Dacera at Room 2209.

Danao said Dacera went back and forth between her room, number 2209, and another room, number 2207, hours before she was found unresponsive in the bathtub of room 2209.
There were 11 people, including Dacera, in room 2209, but only Dacera and four others spent the night. The six others left.
There were seven or eight people, including Edward Madrid, in room 2207. Madrid has yet to give a statement.

Three suspects taken into custody in connection with the mysterious death of a Philippines flight attendant have been released from custody after prosecutors questioned a law enforcement officials rape theory.
Prosecutor General Benedicto Malcontento said the case lacked the evidence necessary to determine whether Christine Dacera who was found dead in a hotel bathtub on New Year’s Day had been raped or murdered, according to Philippine news outlet GMA News Online.
The case has been referred for preliminary investigation to gather more evidence about what happened to Dacera in her final hours and to determine if it s discovered that she had met with foul play who may have been responsible.
