BETHEL, Ohio – The No. 18-ranked Washington State rowing team continues life on the road this weekend, as the Cougars travel cross-country to participate in the Big Ten Invitational. The two-day regatta on Harsha Lake in Bethel, Ohio gets underway this Saturday, April 17, with races in both the morning and afternoon and concludes Sunday, April 18.
The Cougs will be racing against some of the nation s top programs this weekend, as a total of 13
ranked teams will be in attendance at the Big Ten Invitational. This weekend s regatta will mark the first time WSU has raced east of the Mississippi River since the spring of 2018, when the Cougars competed in the Clemson Invite in Clemson, South Carolina.
HENDERSON, Nev. – The No. 19-ranked Washington State rowing team had its varsity four boat collect a second-place finish against a pair of Washington boats to highlight the Cougar's first NCAA regatta in 490 days.
The No. 19 Cougars opened their morning on Lake Las Vegas with a second-place finish in the varsity four race, defeating the Husky 'B' team. Washington State finished with a time of 7:33.35 in the its first race of the day.
LAS VEGAS – After a 490-day wait, the Washington State women's rowing team will return to the water for an NCAA competition this Saturday, March 6, as the Cougars open their 2021 spring schedule with a race against the defending NCAA champion Washington Huskies at Lake Las Vegas in Henderson, Nevada. Race time is set for 8 a.m. PT.
