you are live in the cnn newsroom. i m jim acosta in washington. we want to have an update now on some breaking news coming in to cnn. dramatic new developments in a standoff that is believed to be connected to last night s mass shooting at a dance shooting in monterey park, california. police say the s.w.a.t. operation, part of this story, is now over, and the neighborhood is safe. this is the moment that police approached a van matching the respect s vehicle description, and then breaking the window. you can see there, and just a short time ago, police entered a second white van from torrance, california. the sheriff s department says they are working to determine at this moment if the driver of that white van is this man, their suspect. police have not released their name. they have not named him, but they describe him as an asian man, who is armed and dangerous. they believe he is responsible for opening fire on a lunar new year celebration, killing ten people and injuring
