According to the National Weather Service in Norman, a storm system will bring accumulating snow between two and four inches to at least the northern half of Oklahoma during the daylight hours tomorrow. A once popular southwest Oklahoma vacation destination is getting a face lift. During a press conference on Thursday, Oklahoma’s Tourism and Recreation department announced upgrades and renovations to many state parks, including Quartz Mountain in Greer County. City Manager Tom Ivester told the City Commission recently it was discovered during the dirt work portion of the project, and says the $66,116 price tag was the cheapest option the city could take.

According to court documents the incident happened on November 30 after 30-year-old Joshua Allen Cook attempted to elude a Clinton Police Officer in his car while the officer attempted to perform a traffic stop.
