The issue of whether a woman consented to sex in the back of a ute with two strangers who offered to give her a lift home after a night out with friends will be at the centre of an accused man’s rape trial.
Harley Palise, 30, was driving home from Crown casino with friend Jarrod Thomas about 4.40am on June 17, 2018, when they saw the woman lying on a footpath on Lygon Street in Carlton.
