Technology group Jasco Electronics, which may soon delist from the JSE, has reported it swung into a loss representing more than half its market in the six months to end-December.

Jasco Electronics says said senior management in its Security and Fire business were implicated in misconduct and were changed with immediate effect in July 2022, which was among the string of misfortunes it suffered in 2022.

MTN Group had a barnstorming 2021. The telecommunications group, despite its size, was the best performer among technology shares in South Africa last year.

Ayo Technology Solutions was by far the worst performer in TechCentral’s list.
