More than 70 teams from universities nationwide applied to participate in the competition, hosted by Emory’s Goizueta Business School. Named for the late U.S. Rep. John Lewis, it connects students and corporations to drive racial justice and equity.
Hosted by Goizueta Business School, the competition brings together students from leading universities to focus on the intersection of business and racial equality. The 20 semifinalists for 2022 were selected from 76 applicant teams representing more than 40 schools.

What do you love about Atlanta?
I love that it’s not industry or artistry, it’s both. If you are a corporate CEO or a maker, an artisan, Atlanta is a place where you can come and thrive. I’ve been in this place where I’ve been constantly thinking about the Roaring ’20s, the Harlem Renaissance. I feel like Atlanta is going to be the new Harlem.
What is Atlanta’s most pressing challenge?
