During a two-day workshop in October, IDEAL explored reliability and trust in machine learning and artificial intelligence systems through the lens of computer science, law, and policy.
Northwestern faculty members Piotr Dworczak, Jason Hartline, Annie Liang, Jessica Hullman, Zhaoran Wang, and several current and former Northwestern CS students and postdoctoral fellows participated in the event.
On November 16, IDEAL hosted a workshop focused on new directions on robustness in machine learning as part of the fall 2021 special quarter organized and moderated by a multi-institutional team including Professor Aravindan Vijayaraghavan.
