A Columbia man has been indentified as the shooter in a deadly incident

Lexington County deputies are seeking the public’s help as they investigate a deadly shooting that happened early Sunday morning at a bar in Swansea.

Lexington Sheriff Jay Koon will be facing two challengers on the Republican primary ballot this June. With no Democratic candidates, the winner is likely to be elected sheriff.

A tip and the smell of marijuana led to searches which resulted in multiple arrests, the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department said.
