Palm Coast has agreed to pay $12,500 to its former human resources director to settle a lawsuit she filed against the city alleging the city reneged on a severance agreement. Besides the $12,500 settlement, Debbie Streichsbier will retain all sums paid to her after the end of her employment, according to the settlement agreement. A judge on Wednesday ordered the city of Palm Coast to clear up some of its legal claims in its court battle against a former human resources director who is accusing the city of breaking an agreement to pay her severance pay.
