The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted the town  to scrap the live version of its annual Citizens Academy in favor of offering a virtual class later this month. The Longboat Planning and Zoning Board on Tuesday unanimously approved a special exception and site development plan for the proposed Sage Longboat Key Residences.
