A clerk from the central processing department (CPD) of a co-operative bank has been booked for misappropriating funds of Rs 1.51 crore by siphoning off money into private accounts for online betting and cryptocurrency investments, resulting in substantial losses for the bank. The accused is currently untraceable, and the police are investigating the matter further.
