Parkers Chapel spent much of last season in the thick of the 8-2A race before a three-game losing streak dropped the Trojans to a fifth-place finish.

Life in the 8-2A isn’t easy, but Parkers Chapel found itself in the thick of a conference race that found schools trading places in the standings on a nightly basis.

GURDON – The two games between Parkers Chapel and Ouachita during the regular season were nailbiters that were decided by a combined seven points with each team winning on the road.

PARKERS CHAPEL – Jakourian Key and Lamontra Hankton provided a lethal one-two punch on Friday night, as the duo combined for 50 points to lead Junction City to a 57-39 win over Parkers Chapel in an 8-2A clash between Union County rivals.

The Parkers Chapel Basketball Sweetheart game will be held today at the Jack Walls Gymnasium. The Trojans will take on the Ouachita Warriors.

HERMITAGE - For the second straight game, Parkers Chapel delivered a lopsided victory.

PINE BLUFF – This week has been a profitable one for Strong.

STRONG – Strong started off the second half of the 8-1A schedule on a high note by cruising to a 53-30 victory over Emerson on Tuesday night.
