and then every reply. he also clearly is like watching this process of political radicalization in the worst way with him, his flirting with really racist stuff, really extremist stuff. posts about black crime. how have you understood what has been on display with elon musk in the last several months? >> it started when he overpaid for twitter and tried to back out of the deal. we all knew that something was amiss. we knew the site was never going to be the same. obviously we have the blue check saugus, we have the welcoming back of white nationalists with open arms, his own tweeting. now it sort of feels like a lot of people -- i've been there since i'm an academic. we talk about the news quite a bit. it feels like an old abandoned mall where there is a sears and a jcpenney. a hot top, it acquires. not much else. we're still going because we are used to going, but there are threads, and there's also no spill.

Design concepts and cost estimates for a new city hall and community center were heard Monday for several locations, including the current Willmar Community Center site, the former JCPenney at Uptown Willmar, and a potential city hall/Willmar Municipal Utilities campus.
The proposal to renovate the former JCPenney building in Willmar into a city hall and community center has led to a lot of community discussion regarding the Willmar Ten Investors, the Uptown Willmar mall and its parking lot, as well as the JCPenney building itself. Some of the information that is circulating is simply incorrect.
City of Willmar staff continues to put up hurdles up for Willmar businesses and appear to give unfair advantage to non-local businesses in its city hall-community center development processes. Is it because of staff bias or poor-decision making?
