Supreme Court adjourns plea seeking extra opportunity for candidates who exhausted JEE Advanced last attempt
A plea seeking an extra opportunity for candidates who had exhausted their last attempt in JEE Advanced 2020 was adjourned by the Supreme Court on Monday. The plea was filed for the students who had faced hardships due to the coronavirus pandemic. Advocate Mathews J. Nedumpara in the court today said an extra opportunity was required as only two opportunities were given for JEE and because the coronavirus pandemic had also affected the studies of the candidates.Â
The matter was heard by a bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar, who proceeded to direct the Counsel for the Petitioner to wait for the reserved judgement in the matter.Â

As per the official notice, now available on nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in – a fake website with the URL jeeguide.co.in is operating online. Students and parents are accordingly notified and advised caution.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) warned Joint Entrance Main Exam (JEE Main 2021) aspirants of fake website of JEE Main 2021 jeeguide.co.in. The fake website has duped many students on the pretext of online registration for the entrance examination. NTA released an official notification to alert JEE Mains aspirants wherein it stated, It is revealed from few complaints received at NTA Helpdesk/Call Centre that some unscrupulous elements have created a fake website with URL: jeeguide.co.in in the name of JEE Mains 2021, through which online applications and fee payments are being solicited for JEE (MAIN) 2021 from interested candidates.
