The NTA JEE Main Result for Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech.) was announced on February 12, 2024; however soon after the JEE result declaration, the students claimed that there has been a considerable difference in the JEE Main marks vs percentile predictions.

More than 50 students of DPS Bokaro have secured 92 percentile or higher in the JEE Main 2024 January session. 12 students scored above 99 percentile, 35 scored above 95 percentile. 20 students of Narbharam Hansraj English School in Jamshedpur also obtained 90 percentile and above in the exam.

Three students of Expert PU College, Mangaluru, have scored 100 percentile in physics, and one student 100 percentile in chemistry, in the JEE Main 2024 January session.
