So very glad to share with SOM readers that the Jeevan Praman Patra (Digital Life Certificate) was processed at my doorstep by the Postman of Gokulam Post Office.
I am a resident of Gokulam. It so happened that the Postman, who had come to deliver a post, asked me whether I am a Pensioner for which I said yes. Then he asked me to give the Aadhaar card number and phone number which I immediately gave him. He fed the same in the App of his smartphone and within seconds I got an OTP.
After feeding the OTP, he took out a biometric instrument and asked me to place my finger. It was all over in a matter of a few minutes and he said the job is done.
