Sedgwick County Sheriff Jeff Easter says he is seeing more people who are accused of violent crimes being bonded out of jail because some bonding companies are offering rates at lower percentages.

Local law enforcement outline the results of Operation triple Beam, a joint effort to get those with felony warrants off the street.

The effort took place over two, 10-day periods this summer.

Emergency communications director Elora Forshee said that while there have been some instances of not responding fast enough, theres no reason to believe the CAD system doesnt work on a large scale.
