The Twin Cities will conduct local elections on Tuesday, but the final stretch of the campaigns have been either quiet or nonexistent after last week's mass shooting upended the community.

I will vote against the current status quo in Auburn. Let’s reject the steamrolling of environmental issues, the rampant bullying, private messages that belittle and threaten people who express concerns, public declarations calling residents and experts liars. My votes are for public officials who will listen to, respect, and properly represent the citizens of Auburn. […]

I’m voting for Jeff Harmon for Auburn’s mayor, and for different at-large and Ward 5 Auburn city councilors. Here is why. The current mayor is completing his third term. In that time he has handpicked a City Council, Planning Board, Auburn Water District, and other boards to ensure a majority of votes to promote his […]

This year Auburn residents have a unique opportunity to elect a mayor who would listen to our voices and take effective action in protecting our most valuable natural resource, Lake Auburn. Our current mayor has too often taken positions which could jeopardize our water quality and, in some instances, has led our City Council into […]

Generations of dedicated professionals and volunteers have protected our drinking water supply for good reason. Clean affordable water is a primary driver for attracting and keeping businesses and industries. Studies have shown that the region has no readily viable backup public water supply. In the last six years under Jason Levesque as Auburn’s mayor, I’ve […]
