A federal civil lawsuit has been filed against the City of Minneapolis for the shooting death of Amir Locke a year ago while officers carried out a no-knock warrant at a downtown apartment.

Civil rights attorneys Ben Crump, Antonio Romanucci, and Jeff Storms have announced their intent to file a lawsuit against the City of Minneapolis.

The grants are meant to help restore the neighborhood most affected by the aftermath of Floyds murder.
