if the internet didn t matter, the government wouldn t have been fueled to shut it down. china would have not blocked searchings for egypt. twitter didn t attack the police, people did. making tools of transparency and organization are having a role. jeffrey, do you have a sense in this media coverage that journalists, just it s subtle, but they re kind of rooting for the protesters? there s not great sympathy for hosni mubarak and perhaps not fulling examining that demanding on how this goes, we could end up with an islamic regime we might like less than mubarak. we re in unchartered waters right now. they only have the support of the minority of egyptians. no one knows what s going to
