Newark man jailed for nine years for role in Keyworth aggravated burglary caught on Police Interceptors video

Two men who carried out a horrifying aggravated burglary have been jailed for a combined total of 18 years, ten months.
Footage shows police responding to a distressing 999 call involving a woman who had been threatened to be tied up in her own home and was being robbed at knife-point.
In the Police Interceptors video, the woman can be heard begging for help before units from across Nottinghamshire Police respond to the scene in the Fairham Road area of Keyworth.

Police dog Quantum detains a machete-wielding suspect in the latest episode of Police Interceptors featuring the Nottinghamshire force.
The five-year-old Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd cross, who was previously stabbed in the line of duty while chasing violent burglars in 2018, stopped and detained a youth who tried to flee from officers.
In the video, a blood-curdling scream from the suspect can be heard as Pd Quantum makes his move.

Dog handler Pc Jen Ellse described the heart-thumping moment she released Quantum to do what he does best: I just remember my heart racing as I knew the youth was hiding a weapon and I was extremely concerned that they might use this against Quantum,â said Pc Ellse.
