'It's going to be a total deterrent': Fears for development if horns return, as deadly Brightline quiet zones are reviewed
In the four years since south Florida's first high-speed rail began service, 68 deaths have occurred along the corridor, making it the deadliest rail corridor per mile in the country. Broward Countyโs portion of the railway has prompted a federal review โ and possible removal โ of a quiet zone that could soon target Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties as well.
