A woman who was raped by the Claremont serial killer has come face-to-face with him in court to deliver a powerful victim impact statement.
The victim spoke for the first time in the Supreme Court of Western Australia on Wednesday, as Bradley Robert Edwards was sentenced to a minimum of 40 years in jail. I hope you are treated as well in prison as you have treated us, she told a packed courtroom filled with the families of his victims.
Edwards, a former Telstra technician, was convicted in September of abducting and murdering Jane Rimmer, 23, and Ciara Glennon, 27, in 1996 and 1997.
