Press Poll: Majority of southwest North Dakota respondents say they will vote in-person on election day

A poll of southwest North Dakota residents found that 33% of respondents said they had already cast their ballot for the 2022 primaries; 52% said they would be voting on election day in person; 7% said they don't vote; and 8% said they didn’t realize it was election year.

Fort Bend chamber appoints new vice president

The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce announced May 18 that the organization has named Juliette Nessmith as its new vice president. Nessmith has been with chamber for seven years, according to a news release from the organization, most recently serving as its director of programs before being appointed to the new position. According to the chamber, Nessmith received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2011. She was with the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce prior to joining the Fort Bend Chamber, and was a graduate of the Fort Bend Leadership Forum Class of 2015.
