Shaakirrah Sanders sued the U of I in June 2019, alleging “insulting, humiliating and/or discriminatory conduct related to her gender or race.” The university denied all wrongdoing.

The University of Idaho and a former law professor have reached a $750,000 settlement, resolving a race and gender discrimination lawsuit.

A discrimination case involving University of Idaho College of Law professor Shaakirrah Sanders will go to trial, giving Sanders the chance to argue that she was discriminated against by school deans.
