The Jersey City Education Association PAC is endorsing Hudson County Commissioner Bill O'Dea for mayor in the non-partisan 2025 contest.

The Hillsboro City Schools Board of Education reorganized for the 2024 calendar year Monday, Jan. 8, with their evening including organizational and regular meetings as well as tax budget and school calendar hearings. 

During its meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 9, Holly Village Council voted 6-0 in favor of establishing an exploratory committee tasked with researching and investigating cityhood for the village of Holly.

Adair County board reorganizes

The Hudson County commissioners voted for the Kearny mayor to replace a town councilman as their clerk at Tuesday's reorganization meeting.

The Hudson County Board of Commissioners named Anthony Romano to his first full term as their chairman at yesterday's annual reorg meeting.

Members of the Hillsboro City Schools Board of Education discussed several recent school events during a brief meeting Wednesday, Dec. 20, as the district is currently in its winter break.

All nine members of the Hudson County Board of Commissioners are backing Rep. Menendez for a second term well ahead of a contested primary.
