Fairhaven to fly Pride flag in June, after denying request in 2021

SouthCoast locals weigh in about going straight to gray amid COVID

There was a TV commercial back in the 1980s for a hair coloring product that featured a woman looking into a mirror and saying that her gray hair made her feel old. She then launches into song declaring “I’m gonna wash that gray right outta my hair.”    Forty years later, she might find herself singing “I’m gonna wash the gray right into my hair.”  Celebrities like Ariana Grande, Cardi B and Lady Gaga have all taken their turn sporting the shimmery silver-white locks. They may have inspired a younger crowd who have yet to gasp at the sight of their first natural gray to do the same.
