Columbia university, the epicenter of the recent College Protests. And tonight, School Officials asked new York City Police to step in and clear out the demonstrators. Hundreds of Police Officers began making arrests this evening. Columbia University Made that decision to call police after protesters seized Hamilton Hall yesterday. The University Says the building had been vandalized and blockaded tonight. Officers had to break a second floor window to make their way inside. Protesters were then led away in zip ties and put onto busses. New york mayor eric adams issued a warning before police began arresting protesters, even urging parents to get involved. Lets go ahead and take a look from overhead. We have a Helicopter Shot overhead following the crowd of hundreds of workers making their way from the mission to city hall, where we are now. Those workers are expected to rally here. Then move on to the Ferry Building later today. Now, the rally started at 24th and mission in the citys Mission District this morning, where workers gathered and rallied at around 10 a. M. Workers say theyre speaking out for immigrant workers, undocumented worker rights, as well as the right to organize labor. And this year, workers say that theyre also rallying and marching in solidarity and in sympathy with palestinians. They say are targeted by the war in gaza. Workers say they are essential to the functioning of society, and too often their contributions are overlooked. They say today,

Father mcquellly wasnt around today but the Office Manager at the rectory came to his defense. Whatever they say is up to them, its their choice to say whatever they choose to say.
