Jijau Comm Co-op Bank launches debit card services
Amravati (Maharashtra) based Jijau Commercial Cooperative Bank recently launched a RuPay ATM cum debit card service for its customers and expects to give it to 10k customers of the bank in a couple of months.
Talking to Indian Cooperative the bank Chairman Er Avinash Kothale said, “Our bank has launched the ATM card and through this our customers can access this card in any of the ATM machines. Besides, they can also make online purchases through this debit card”.
Besides, we are also in the process of installing an ATM machine in our newly constructed head office in 10-15 days. Our bank is small but we are focusing on giving high quality services to our customers in the near future, said its Chairman.

UCB floated novel scheme for Covid victims; gives Rs 10k to kin
Maharashtra based Jijau Commercial Cooperative Bank, which grabbed media headlines when it floated a member-friendly scheme of helping Covid victims by offering their kin a sum of Rs 10,000, is waiting for a VIP to inaugurate its new building.
The UCB has shifted its head office to a new location at its own premises in Amravati and at present its management is busy finding VIPs for inaugurating the office next month.
Talking about the novel idea of helping its members in tough Covid times, Jijau Commercial Cooperative Bank’s Chairman Avinash A Kothale said “We have made a budget of Rs 2.5 lakh, if there is a need we will extend it”.
