CM Punk and Gail Kim have taken to social media to react to today’s big story about Mickie James’ belongings being sent to her by WWE in a trash bag. As has been reported on Thursday, Triple H took to Twitter to issue a statement about James receiving her stuff in such a manner, noting, “Upon learning of the disrespectful treatment some of our recently released talent received on behalf of the company, we took immediate action. The person responsible for this inconsiderate action has been fired and is no longer with @WWE.”
It’s worth noting that John Laurinaitis posted a nearly-identical Tweet just a minute before Triple H did, posting, “Upon learning of the disrespectful treatment of some of our recently released talent, we took immediate action. The person responsible for this inconsiderate action has been fired.”

By tweeting a picture yesterday (April 22), Mickie James outed WWE’s practice of sending released wrestlers’ belongings to them in a garbage bag. That set off a chain reaction of events at the biggest
pro wrestling promotion sports entertainment corporation the world’s ever known, culminating in the reported firing of long-time talent relations executive Mark Carrano.
Since lots of people have worked for, and been let go by, Vince McMahon’s company over the years, it stands to reason others could relate to James’s experience. Some, like CM Punk and Maria Kanellis, already reacted to Mickie’s trash bag pic and Triple H & Stephanie McMahon’s public apologies. Others specifically had thoughts about Carrano.

Hours after Mickie James revealed her belongings had been sent back to her by WWE in a trash bag, John Laurinaitis, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon all sent out identical tweets to James apologizing for the incident and announcing the person responsible had been fired. The person was later exclusively confirmed by Wrestling Inc.’s Raj Giri to be Mark Carrano, former Senior Director of Talent Relations.
That hasn’t stopped wrestlers from all over to reacting to the news. Former wrestler CM Punk, no stranger to controversial departures to WWE, was quick to respond. As seen below, he quote tweeted Triple H’s statement with the “if you say so” gif.

What happened to decorum? Clients and some lawyers are appearing in Zoom hearings doing things that wouldn’t happen in court, the Louisville Courier Journal reports. Dress becomes more informal. Lawyers or litigants have a drink. The setting is a bed or even a hair salon. The background gives too much away. The mute button isn’t on.
The Louisville Courier Journal published its story after a lawyer appeared as a kitten during a Zoom hearing while he struggled to remove the filter. “The bloopers and blunders of virtual hearings have provided comic relief during an otherwise bleak and dismal year,” the newspaper reports, citing an article in the Louisville Bar Association newsletter Bar Briefs.
