Gilroy fire and cal fire have not been able to give us accurate acreage at this time. We do know, though, no homes have been damaged yet. Neighbors say they were enjoying the Holiday Weekend this evening when all of a sudden a fire erupted near their homes. And with such deep and thick grass and brush across the area they have need for concern. Took them to my brothers house just in case, get the hoses ready. The fire broke out near the harrison street off ramp at 580. A lot of Emergency Personnel at the scene there. Theyre the ones who go down into the rubble and try to see if they can find anybody who might still be alive. They think they are in the process of rescuing four people. Im not sure how many adults, how many children. It seems four people are still down there. They are shipping oxygen tanks down there. They are shipping medical supplies, anything they can provide to keep those folks alive and hope they can get to them in time.
