Demonstrations tonight in oakland and kpix 5 is near the plaza where theres a big contrast the last weeks protest to last weeks protests. Reporter thats right. There are at least three protests in downtown oakland today. One of those happening right now where the protestors are marching in downtown oakland. And given the recent vandalism that happened on saturday and monday, theres a Strong Police presence watching over those protestors. Thousands of people a day. Reporter a small disruption to what has been a peaceful day in oakland. An occupy oakland protester shouted down the mayor quan as she spoke to a crowd of about 200 people at a federal building.
