The Egyptian god Seth has been identified as a trickster, a sky god, a lord of the desert, the master of storms, disorder, or warfare and he was hated as the destroyer of Osiris, but when placed into context of cataclysmic volcanic eruptions during the second millennium BC, it is clear that his role as a god of volcano has largely been ignored.
