DELPHOS- The Jefferson Wildcats hoped to start the week on the right
foot and they did in a big way thanks to a seven-run first inning to
defeat the Miller City 11-1 in five innings.

MARION – Junior Jarrett Hornish became the second individual wrestling state champion in Wayne Trace history on Sunday at Marion Harding High School as the Raider grappler posted a 5-4 victory over Mechanicsburg’s Trey Allen in the 126-pound weight class.
Hornish defeated Rootstown’s Caleb Edwards 4-2 in the semifinals following a 15-3 major decision quarterfinal win over Barnesville’s Skyler King. Hornish pinned Oak Harbor’s Tyler Davis at the 5:31 mark in the opening round.
