Here are some local restaurants to celebrate our burger obsessions.
Lucky Shuck
Why would you go to an oyster bar for an over-the-top burger? If the place is partly owned by NFL icon Joe Namath, there are a few good reasons. Not only was Namath born during Burger Month and has a jazzy burger named after him at Lucky Shuck he also has linked this Broadway Burger to a community cause.
On Namath’s birthday, Monday, May 31, the restaurant will donate $5 from the sale of each Broadway Burger to support the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum. That’s the iconic landmark that’s visible from the oyster bar, which is part of the new Charlie and Joe’s at Love Street complex.
