Brian D’Arcy has been appointed as sales manager for John Deere’s ag division with responsibilities for the territories of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and northern England. This appointment follows John Deere’s recent European business reorganisation.
D’Arcy replaces Chris Meacock, who will take over as turf division sales manager for Ireland and UK, Scandinavia and the Benelux countries.
Basedint Langar (UK), Brian will work alongside Joedy Ibbotson, who carries the identical role for western Europe and southern England. Both men are responsible for all agricultural product sales and marketing throughout the Irish and UK dealer network, reporting directly to Western European sales director Richard Johnson.
