The Tigers would start off the battle of the big cats with a closer than expected first quarter with the Tigers taking a 19-13 lead. The six point Carroll lead would turn into 16 by halftime at 38-22. Kaleb Booth would lead the Tigers with nine first half points.    The points would continue to come and the defense would get stronger for the Tigers in the second half. They would keep the Wildcats to seven third quarter points while they packed on 17 points in the third. The Tigers would have a closer fourth quarter as their bench players would get some playing time.
