Live from the cbs bay area studios. This is kpix5 news. Tragedy on the tracks, a bay area teen is killed after being hit by a traoepb. It by a train. Reporter the Police Responding to a 911 call found the body of a teenage girl by the tracks late this afternoon. She was struck by a Freight Train nearment intersection of old orchard at 5 00 p. M. The spokesperson said three locomotives with no freight were going through there when the conductor saw two people on the track. The two got off of the tracks but for some reason the girl stepped back on and was struck and killed. A by standard hears what he heard from others at the scene. I guess she reached back for her cell phone and at the last minute she was trying to get out of the way of the train, it was sad. Reporter the police will not confirm reports from the scene.
