The young migrant was quickly apprehended as he tried to flee down 47th Street and Seventh Avenue after allegedly trying to steal from the JD Sports on West 42nd Street and Broadway at around 7:15 p.m., police sources told The Post.

The shooter, described by police as a male between 15 and 20 years old, was still at large Friday.

“I hope this is an aberration,” one Manhattan cop told The Post of the late-night scuffle.
