Mayor Dailey announced in a tweet last week his intention to add an agenda item to this week’s city commission meeting that would formally terminate the sister city relationship between Tallahassee and Krasnodar. He says he’s heard from many members of the community on this issue and believes ending the relationship will show that Tallahassee stands in unity with the people of Ukraine.

The city will also be lightings some public structures yellow and blue through the weekend to honor the people of Ukraine.
