this is what we would call a major quake and capable of causing quite a bit of destruction near the epicenter. so far we dont have any reports of major damage or any injuries. its been a couple of hours, so thats a little bit of good news. heres the location. this is about 45 miles away from temuca. this was on the land, not over the water so no real tsunami threat. about 91,000 people live within the area of severe shaking. and we do know shaking was felt as much as 400 miles away. we...
