MANSFIELD — Local resident Karen Read returned to court Friday in the high profile murder case involving the death of her police officer boyfriend, but little was settled.

Attorneys for Karen Read followed up a relatively subdued motions hearing with filings demanding their client’s indictment be dismissed and that the Norfolk District Attorney be disqualified and sanctioned.

A motions hearing is scheduled for Friday morning in the case of Karen Read.

“I don’t want to change the trial date for this,” Judge Beverly Cannone said from the Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham Friday. “This case will go to trial March 12th.”

Much of Friday’s hearing was spent analyzing the relationship between witnesses and a lead investigator on Read’s case.
