Voters across Colorado delivered decisive results Tuesday night on key ballot questions and in hard-fought municipal and school board races -- at least most of the time.

The day before the Nov. 7 election, spending in the Denver school board races has climbed to nearly $1.9 million, much of it by one outside group supportive of charter schools.

John Youngquist, Kwame Spearman are running and either will be a great improvement over current conditions if they stick to their pledges to be apolitical and make board business the priority.
