The Masked Singer Season 5 promised major twists, and it has delivered. Not only did the Wild Card round see four new contestants join the competition in the middle, it also had a new host (Niecy Nash stepped in for the first five episodes of the season after Nick Cannon tested positive for COVID-19) and saw Cannon himself step into one of the show s iconic costumes as a (now-eliminated) Wild Card contestant.
